Taqaballahu Minna Wa Minkum
"May Allah accept all , our solah, our qiam, our fasting, our sadaqah, and all our good deeds in the month of Ramadhan. May He keep us steadfast with our Iman in the coming month until the next Ramadhan, may He grant us the permission and the opportunity to meet again with Ramadhan (inshaAllah), may we become a better person after this Ramadhan. May He grant us success in this world and the hereafter. And most importantly may He keep our heart, our soul, and our intention pure in whatever that we do and may He keep on guiding us. "
Indeed Syawal is a celebrating month, and for those who has worked hard during Ramadhan this is for the time you to reward yourself. But let us remember that we still have other responsibilities. Don't let this festive mood be a reason for us not to be productive. When we are at work, we are at work.
We have worked so hard in Ramadhan to search for lalatul qadr, and let us keep that up. If in Ramadhan we can fast, lower our gaze, beware of backbiting, sabr, do qiam, at least for the month after Ramadhan we can maintain 5% or 10% of whatever we've done would be good.

Remember, one of the purpose of Ramadhan is for us to be a mutaqqun. If we're out of Ramadhan and things just got back to normal as before, maybe we might want to reevaluate our iman. This reminds me of a hadith by Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam when a sahabi asked him about what deeds that would bring him to Jannah and the Prophet answered deeds that are done with istiqamah.
As long as we improve our life inshaAllah things would be okay. It's not how we start but it's what we do and how we ends it. May Allah grant us deep understanding. Till then.
